This was a morning in October last year, around the time of the holy festival of “Navratri”.

Usually we had to be up around 4:30 am, for this festival, take a hot bath, and then head out for a ceremony, which involved the lighting of a sacred fire, and putting sandalwood on my forehead. Was quite brilliant.
