This is one of the greatest spiritual teachers of our time from my understanding! Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, who was also one of the teachers of His Holiness The Dalai Lama.
He was born in Tibet, and died in Bhutan in the early nineties.
His name meant “Brilliant Moon”. He shone his light all over the world, as one of the most profound authorities on Tibetan Buddhism. Known for his large frame, deep stillness, and absolute humility, he won hearts wherever he went.
One of his quotes
” Do not encumber your mind with useless thoughts. What good does it do to brood on the past or anticipate the future? Remain in the simplicity of the present moment”.
